IT Field Services Technician
HowardCenter | Burlington, VT

Be
part of the IT team as a Field Technician, supporting our employees and
multiple locations with your expertise and technical skills. A great
opportunity for someone with strong technical skills to provide a stable,
current, efficient and cost-effective computing environment to the Agency by
installing, upgrading, and supporting end user computing resources across our
various locations.

Responsibilities:

This
role leads the front-line technology with both phone and remote site support. It includes diagnosing and troubleshooting
employee calls, onsite installation and repairs, triage and resolution of
HelpDesk requests, managing end user computing projects, and working with other
staff to develop documentation and procedures for other staff in support of
these environments.

The
right candidate will have great communication skills while displaying a
positive, high-energy attitude at all times. Requires the ability to
manage multiple tasks and prioritize your workload under minimal direction.
Must have strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. The right
candidate will be a self-starter, who can thrive within the Technical Support
and Field Technician team

Requirements:

*

1 years supporting a computer user environment via phone

* Hands on technical support of desktop computer, peripherals and office applications in a networked environment.
* High School Diploma
* Needs
to have own car to travel to various locations in support of role

Desired

* Associates Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
Structure:

Full time (37.5 hours/week)
* Non-exempt
